Been going caseless for about a year with iPhone X. See our for more details. You use your phone very day, why not spend a few extra bucks on a good solid case. You honestly can't go wrong with Apple's own genuine leather case. The leather this time around seems a tad thinner, which is not terribly bad because the phones themselves keep getting fatter and heavier. I bought this at the apple store and had the amazing experience of talking to a really cool employee. After 2 years of that, I wanted something that felt more elevated and wasn't plastic.
The leather on these cases is hand-stained, 100 percent vegetable-tanned leather, with each piece completely unique and unlike any other. Next iPhone I get, I know where to purchase a case. Green is my favorite color. I have had a clear plastic case on my previous iPhone that has worked very well for me. I've had three of the leather cases for different iPhones over the years and they work great for me. It's hard to tell it's black.
I bought one because I was there and it was my only option. The only reason I haven't returned it is because then I am left without a case. The black looks excellent and blends into the small bezels on the side of the phone. This hits all of those better than any case I've had. The color isn't my issue though. Nomad is a trusted name in mobile accessories, and the Rugged Case is another fine addition. Really really disappointing that Apple invests so much effort into design and packaging of the iPhone, and zero quality control in the design and manufacturing of a case to cover and protect the device.
The buttons are very tactile while keeping a low profile with the case. This is immediately noticeable in such a dark color. Some people won't mind, but it's a big big quality control issue for me to have an entire corner of color rubbed off my case in literally days. I have a marble bedside table and I seriously put a paper towel down on the surface before putting my phone on it. Definitely w Honestly was expecting a more forest and vibrant green. These Apple-designed cases fit snugly over the curves of your iPhone without adding bulk.
There's also an elastic closure strap so that you can keep your phone hidden and tucked away when not in use, so that you're not an easy target. The store manager recommended this for my X. Green is my favorite color. Leather is amazing, and gives your phone that touch of elegance and class. Definitely was expecting something lighter and a richer green! I have not dropped my phon I recently purchased two of the silicon cases for the iPhone about 2 months ago , and the silicon is already peeling off of the case.
The phone is not slippery at all and it has a sleek design. Unfortunately as I look at it appears very dark on the order of almost black. I won't even leave the phone out while driving, even though I have a little cubby in the dash for a phone. It's hard to tell it's black. But I assumed it was from putting it in my pocket and pulling it out so often, and with the fact most of my pants are black jeans. Been going caseless for about a year with iPhone X. The case stops at the corners and leaves the bottom free so when swiping up on the X for home, there is nothing in the way.
I'm going to try and get one on eBay for the X since Apple discontinued accessories for a great phone way too early. But along with the thinness comes a cheaper feeling, which is not something one expects or wants from an expensive case such as this. It almost falls catches your eye as blue or purple sometimes. When leather is good, it looks good, feels good, and even smells good. This post may contain affiliate links.
It almost falls catches your eye as blue or purple sometimes. I have no idea how this is even happening. Make everyone think you're just reading a very small book when you're actually on your phone! Yes this is very dark, but in bright light it is definitely a true deep gre Like two previous reviewers, I also bought Forest Green. I won't even put it down on a solid surface unprotected. Leather ages well, and it's classy as heck. They age incredibly well and look professional and elegant. I will add the following observations: 1 I agree with the other reviewers about the color: it's darker in person than the pleasing forest green that's pictured.
